BIOSPAIN 2008 Investment Forum (17th to 18th of September) is an event organised by Europe Unlimited, which allows international innovative biotechnology businesses to meet with an audience of leading biotech investors. The Investment Forum is supported by INTERES Invest in Spain, Spanish Government organization for Attracting Foreign Invesments and sponsored by NEURON BPh.
Companies seeking international finance or partners have the opportunity to present their business projects to a panel of interested investors and corporate partners. Europe Unlimited has been creating pan-European market platforms where technology entrepreneurs, cash rich venture capital investors and corporate dealmakers meet and do business since 1998. Out of the entrepreneurs that presented during past Biotech Investment Forums their business, some 80 are known to have raised venture capital in excess of €300 million following their participation.
Biotechnology is an increasingly popular term and refers to tremendous progress in applied research. With the development of new approaches and modern techniques, more traditional biotechnology industries are also acquiring new horizons that enable entrepreneurs to improve the quality of their products and increase the productivity of our economy.
